Rude staff, seemingly very disorganized and unprofessional, and unable to fulfill simple orders. Weird, annoying, frustrating. After 2 weeks of multiple failed dealings with them I got what I needed done at another dealer in the area the same day. That's why I say weird, it's like they just didn't want the business here.

Imagine being in fear of your car failing on you, while driving on the freeway even AFTER you have had it supposedly inspected by Hayward Honda’s Service department. The service here is just terrible when it comes to the administrative people at the desks. I simply needed the air on my car tires checked because they were visibly very low. I went in around 10 am on Sunday morning, and the two females at the service department’s reception desk were assisting others. One seemed polite and professional whilst apologizing for me having to wait in line for a while but that she would help me as soon as she got back from helping her customer. The other remained there and although, nobody was there, continued to ignore me even though she had seen me waiting for a while. I saw another female customer walk in and she was immediately offered help. The customer clearly stated she did not have an appointment and that she saw I had been there before she arrived. Even though the customer clearly stated this to the female working at the desk, her response was “that’s okay”. I was appalled by her blatant disregard towards me. So, I told her myself, politely “excuse me, I was here before her, I have been waiting. Her reply: “that’s okay”. I don’t know what on earth could possibly justify this type of unprofessionalism and flat out disrespect. I then replied to her and said “no, that’s not okay. Please help me. I arrived before her”. She exhaled and begrudgingly decided to help me. I told her I simply needed the air pressure on my tires checked. She continued to tell me she couldn’t find me in their system even though I have purchased my vehicle from that exact location and have been coming there since, since 2019. When she finally found my records, she was unable to answer any questions I had about the last service I had done and when it was, and kept dismissing me with her abrupt responses including “I don’t know. We can figure that out later.” I asked her if I can at least make an appointment then, and she made me an appointment. Meanwhile, she said she would take my car to the service department, and have them check my tires. When she came back, she wouldn’t even allow me to speak to the service tech who inspected my tires, claiming he was already on lunch. I was very concerned about my SAFETY and making sure my car was safe to drive. When I stepped out, I saw the service tech was still around and working - clearly not on lunch. I implored him for a few minutes of his time to simply ask about my tires because the interactions I had, made me feel very rushed and she neither could even tell me the mileage on my car or what on earth the tire pressure was, should be, but only that it had been low and that it was taken care of. Today, I drove on the freeway and could hear my tires - that’s how low the air was. I was terrified of them exploding or my car crashing suddenly. Do not go this location if you truly value the condition, functionality, and reliability of your vehicle!! This is a huge liability when a “service” department fails to do their job on a vehicle. Extremely dangerous and life threatening. I will not return to this location. Also, they hardly ever answer their phones so you can actually make an appointment. The female working there was of Asian descent, had long hair, and her name started with a ‘J’. Terrible! Uncomfortable. Clearly hostile.

Amazing service. Came here for a battery change . We were taken care of very well. Robert and Jessica were especially very friendly and customer oriented. I would only go here again.

Best place to buy a Honda, period. After a long search, walking out of many other Honda dealerships after being fed up with the lies and the sleazy tactics I didn’t think that I'd find a reputable place to buy a car where I didn't feel like I was being bent over. Then I found Hayward Honda... Ken, Cesar, Mike and Shawn, gave me a 100% transparent, pleasant, and professional experience; the complete opposite of what I experienced everywhere else. I was in and out in less than 3 hours with my new Civic and at a great price - it was quick because there was no BS, no games, signed for the number we originally agreed on and no “surprises” with the out the door price - just honest business! By far the most honest and professional dealership in the Bay Area, and trust me, I visited quite a few on my search. Cesar the sales rep was a pleasure to work with. I will never ever bother going anywhere else, you've earned a customer for life!
