Trail head😊 day use area 🙂parking lot? Brought my puppy here for Saturday to hike. Easy parking, picnic tables bathrooms ( not sure condition inside, Didn’t like the looks of the outside. Cross the bridge and headed right. Sign says only open Saturday & Sunday May/ December. A good amount of people camped by the water but still lots of places open. Took puppy to water to walk in. Beautiful nature. Too much trash diapers… When will some people learn to clean up after themselves? Just sad 😞. Bring a bag to help clean up the trash.

This is an awesome place for all sorts of family outdoor activities. My wife and her cousin came here for a hike. They had such a great time, my wife brought me here a few weeks ago for a bike ride. About 10 miles into the mountain, you find this parking. A parking pass is required, which can be purchased at a booth in route up the mountain. Signs are posted for you. We decided to get the annual pass because we will be spending a lot of time here. The path is paved and you can ride for miles. However, people also hike, fish and play in the river. There is also beautiful waterfalls throughout the river path. The sound of the water is just so relaxing. While bike riding, we saw a father and son riding their bikes with fishing poles in their backpacks. I'm sure they have a secret fishing spot. I'll be spending a few weekends here during the summer with my family to say the least. I'm sure my 10 year old son will find the scenery to be a lot of fun while hiking here. Specially since hiking and fishing are two of his favorite things for us to do on the weekends. We are always looking for new places to create more memories. I think this place has a little bit of everything. A little piece nature calls for more father and son adventures

This is a roadside parking lot near the west fork trailhead, and there is a try toilet and a couple of trash cans. The best thing is it's so close to Azusa River, so it's a great refresh place in the hot summer .

Dogs are permitted, but since this in a national forest area they need to stay on a leash
Technically, you need an Adventure Pass to park in any paved parking lot in the National Forest. You can buy day or annual passes at any ranger station or a number of stores. However, with the current government shut down, no one is checking for passes and the ranger stations are closed
