Yes! Charitable donations to the Shadow Buddies Foundation, one of Kansas City’s top charities, do not go unnoticed. We appreciate the charitable contributions of each of our donors, and the children you help will never forget that kindness, love, and community still exist in this world.

The Shadow Buddies Foundation is dedicated to providing emotional support and education to children with severe illnesses or disabilities and to children who are undergoing medical treatments or emotional trauma. Each Buddy is made to represent a medical condition and is designed to be a friend, “Just like Me”. Each Buddy is carefully researched and crafted in muslin, a durable cotton fabric.

A $10 donation provides a child with a child-size Super Hero Cape & Mask, and a $20 donation provides a Shadow Buddy to a child. Each Shadow Buddy adopted will provide much-needed comfort and joy to children in pediatric care. We thank you for your donation and for helping us spread Miles of Smiles!

At our children’s charity, we’re striving to create a world where children feel supported and represented, no matter the condition of their health.
