do not use green leaf rent a car, I was authorized by insurance to get a car from them, they asked for my credit card in case i damaged car or didn't return full of gas. Instead of following up with insurance company for their payment, they decided a month later to hit my card for the amount of the rental plus $100 extra. Not acceptable. Will pursue damages to full extent of the law.

Very reasonable prices. Glad they were available when the Toyota dealership was out of rentals while my car had to be left for almost a week - over a holiday weekend. Nice, quick shuttle to Greenleaf, paperwork was handled quickly and efficiently. A bit of very inconvenient confusion about adding a second driver - lack of communication between the supervisor and some newer employees - but it got settled eventually. I would rent here again in the future.

This was my first experience with Greenleaf Rent A Car and, unfortunately, I was disappointed. I came to Greenleaf Rent A Car because my car was in the auto shop for the week and so I was in need of a car. To pick up the car, I came right at opening time with my father. He took off work to drive me, expecting it not to take long. However, the person who helped us took a very long time with the paperwork, making the whole process drag on. I asked to be set up with a fuel efficient car, thinking that Greenleaf would have a fuel efficient economy car. I was very wrong, and was set up with a gas guzzler of a car, a Mitsubishi that drove like very poorly and could be described as a 'rinky dinky' car. The car smelled poorly, as if it wasn't thoroughly cleaned prior. The car was anything but fuel efficient and by Friday, with driving very limited miles, I was already at half a tank (only driving it for 5 days at that point). My car, a 2016 Toyota Corolla, doesn't even come close to half tank given the same amount of driving. The one positive of this whole experience, was that turning in the car was quick and easy. There are many other small, economy cars that are fuel efficient and drive much better and that's what I expected from Greenleaf.

What are the insurance requirements for renting?

All renters are required to provide proof of full coverage and liability insurance. Greenleaf requires that full coverage insurance including liability insurance (your own policy) will transfer to the vehicle being rented. Greenleaf does provide Collision Damage Waiver, Renters Liability Protection, and Supplemental Liability Protection coverage’s that you may elect to add at the time of booking. NOTICE: Credit cards DO NOT carry liability coverage and will NOT be accepted as insurance. Credit cards are secondary coverage and only cover damage to the rented vehicle. They do not offer coverage in the event of any liability claims.

Personal checks or handwritten checks are not accepted for any reason. School, government, or institution checks are accepted providing Greenleaf receives the check a minimum of 14 days prior to the pickup date. Greenleaf will STILL REQUIRE a credit card authorization to be placed on file – this is for incidentals only and WILL NOT be charged unless vehicle is returned with less fuel, damage, etc.

All renters are required to pick up and return vehicle to the Greenleaf location that the customer first rented from. If the vehicle is returned to a different Greenleaf location there will be a $250.00 drop charge.

Greenleaf does not fill all gas tanks to full. This helps us continue to keep our rates as low as possible! Fuel level will be checked and confirmed at the time of rental. Customer is required to bring the vehicle back with the same amount of fuel as when rented. Fuel discrepancies will be billed to the customer at $6.00 US per gallon.

International customers will be required to provide a passport, international drivers license and are required to purchase our Personal Protection Package coverage.
