Nice Clean facility . Nice gardens round buildings to relax and unwind for a few minutes before getting back on road. Got some vending machines to get snacks and coffee. 6-13-22

Nice welcome center. Picnic area is well maintained. Vending area inside a separate building with plenty of choices.

Tennessee Welcome Center / Rest area on the 65 South for Cars, Busses and Trucks. - Seriously, the cleanest rest area in Tennessee! Not just the bathrooms, but the entire parking and rest area. Paula, together with three other girls are very helpful in advising what to do in Tennessee, the neighborhoods, and the rich history of the state of Tennessee. You obviously can tell that these girls are instructed very well, have been educating themselves about the history and what to do in Tennessee, and on top of that they are very nice, Helpful and friendly. The rest area itself, looks fabulous taken care of, like a high-end garden from a mansion in Bel Air. Clean, beautiful trees and flowering plants, many signs with information about the history and well-known or lesser known facts about Tennessee. The rest area is providing electricity through Solar panels and therefore contributing to lesser greenhouse emissions. The bathrooms by itself are unbelievable clean. Like they were brand new, and made yesterday. Every single time I pass by here they are always as clean as you can think off. There is access for handicapped and a changing table for babies, and there are so many bedrooms that two busloads with people can go to the bathroom at the same time! An overload of picnic houses with many tables and benches gives everyone the possibility to sit down and relax in the shade. The pets can walk around in a dedicated pet area. Also, There is a separate vending building with more than plenty of vending machines from water, snacks, fresh to brew coffee and pet snacks. The place is very kid friendly and safe! The only downside is that you are not allowed to overnight in your car or truck. Again this rest place is fantastic if I could give 100 stars I would.

Questions & Answers

IS THERE 24 HOUR SECURITY?

Rhonda Davis | Jan 23, 2021
Booger Bear | Jan 24, 2021

Most states have security in their rest areas, however, I am not sure about Tennessee!! I am a truck driver, and I do see a lot of security in a lot of rest areas. You might want to call the Tennessee D.O.T. and ask them that question!!
