Was just in attempting to return some bulbs I purchased from another AutoZone earlier in the day. When the receipt wouldn’t scan, I was told by the clerk it “wasn’t my problem. You’ll have to go back to the original store”. So I asked him to try typing in the receipt and wouldn’t you know, it absolutely worked and my information was found. So the man starts asking me for my personal information, something I’m not comfortable doing, When I pressed the clerk on why this was happening, some good ole boy with bad tattoos and a worse attitude hands me a blank receipt stating they have the RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE. Mind you, all I did was ask a question. He told me to “grow up” and then walked to the back like a real man. I wouldn’t recommend this AutoZone if there was a gun to my head. Their service is like their attitude. Awful.

I went in today to get a new car battery. I was helped by James and he was just the best. Super friendly and helpful in helping me. I walked in a bit bummed about having to buy a new battery and I left happy as can be. I recently moved to this area and I will always be coming to this store for my auto needs. And that’s all because of James today.

This is my third and final trip to this autozone, There is no way to cash out with a simple item such as a quart of oil or spool of wire without waiting behind everyone who needs to get their cars free diagnosed, including diagnosis theory, every good merchant has a clear point of sale for those ready to check out, Which always makes this quick trip to the auto parts store an hour, And it’s only 3 miles down the road, seems to get the parts right though thus the three stars, I checked today to confirm that I have to wait to cash out and was told yes they work exclusively through the one line, good luck 👍
