I expected after my Memphis first time experience for Nashville to be rather nice, I was wrong. It is not Horrible just not newer cleaner and less of a "hang out" location. The "restaurant " was not open and the water soda vending machines were 3.00. My bus was late, though I was first on. I believe no one was pleased with the bus not being even slightly cool. The bus was off and it must have been high 90s on it, it took a good while to cool down. I also ended up in a seat where the electrical plug was not working which was not favorable for a 4 hour ride to charge cell phone. I will say it could have been worse and it could have been better.

This is one of the few greyhound stations still open. Most stations have been changed to pickup points. The employees of greyhound have absolutely no empathy. We were very late after sitting in the bus in Knoxville for over 5 hours waiting on a driver There are typical vending machines. Good thing because the little restaurant is closed on weekends I would NOT recommend greyhound to anyone. You can walk it and have less problems.

Could easily have flown to nearby airport and paid for an Uber to transport to and from the airport without going over the Greyhound ticket cost. Memphis, Nashville, and Atlanta stations had a combined total of 2 toilets and 2 urinals and we're possibly cleaned the month prior. Food is passable as cafeteria food but priced like high quality dining. First bus driver left Little Rock terminal and traveled about a 1/4 mile before realizing luggage doors weren't closed and secured and had to stop the bus by the Little Rock arena to shut them. There were a couple helpful and attentive employees, but the majority were rude condescending bags of oxygen. Atlanta was the all time low, multiple customers mistreated and fights breaking out all night inside and outside. A poor middle aged blind woman was told to get help from other customers and go to the end of the ticket line to get assistance from Greyhound. I've NEVER seen a place handle any form of disabled customer that way. Also Greyhound needs to keep their lots policed for trash. Nashville, Memphis, and Atlanta all had literal trash tumbleweeds rolling back and forth across the lot. Whether its cigarettes, styrofoam cafeteria containers, or "diabetic" supplies for insulin application the lack of effort to take care of the terminals shows...

Getting places is nice and quiet for the most part. But why are so many of the workers and drivers so aggressive? I've come through here a few times and so more than a couple of the workers are generally rude and I've seen and spoke to more than one customer who was emotionally distressed by the behavior of the employees at Greyhound. I understand the station can be hectic. But taking it out on the customers seems unethical to me

There are charging stations at the end of seats in the waiting area.
Based upon our experience with Greyhound in Nashville, Tennessee, we would highly recommend that you find an alternative method of traveling anywhere, rather than leave the driving to Greyhound !!!!! We'll NEVER RIDE THE OLD GREY DOG AGAIN !!!!!
Mine was checked, you should always have an ID with yourself anyways when you are traveling.
Before your trip contact Greyhound and let them know you are a Deaf person in need of interpreter services. It may also be helpful to buy the Economy Extra (middle price fare) or the most expensive fare ticket. Those two include benefits that may help you. Be warned!!! My 28 hour trip took 4 days due to no drivers or no busses! You might be better off taking a train or airplane!!
Nashville has a fast food type grill and it was actually pretty good! 😁 However, you're trapped and they know it, so it's a bit pricey. Be warned, not all the terminals have food! The worst one, Knoxville, ( I got stuck there 25 hours when our bus simply didn't show up) only had vending machines and a filthy microwave (that was right after I saw the woman "clean" it) to warm up a $10 chicken sandwich!!
Well they do have them im pretty sure you have to pay to use them
