I went here on a Photography class trip, and we got the berry tart and some sugar cookies to take pictures of. The food was very colourful and it tasted great. It was very packed, so you know it was good. Overall, it was a very nice experience and I recommend others to try it.

We are never disappointed by San Luis Rey. From breakfast to dinner and dessert from the bakery. The owners are super friendly, and they hire friendly, helpful staff. We make sure to stop in for at least one meal each time we’re in town.

The bakery items were stale. The kid plate portions were very small and my burrito had zero flavor; hardly comes close to authentic tasting Mexican food. The staff were very nice but this place is over hyped and over priced. I certainly won’t be back after going out of my way to try this place based on the reviews, such a HUGE disappointment. 🙄

Restaurant and bakery! Hand made tortillas d harina(flour)!!! Mexican menu. My carne asada was spot on even better with the hand made flour tortillas. Bakery has a large variety of options. Perfect to finish a meal of or on its own.

Most Mexican restaurants have vegan options. Rice, beans, tortillas, salsa, salad.
It's a Mexican bakery, I don't know what a hot cross bun is. They're probably open on Easter but then again maybe not. Try the chilaquiles they're great.
