Me and my homies been to lots of these locations and have never had a good haircut from these so called “barbers” or “hair stylists”. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking to get a bad haircut

Consumer Alert: Asked for Jennifer Aniston layers (showed pictures), instead I received Billy Ray Cyrus mullet… I walked into this Mission Plaza (Oceanside) location with hair length past my mid-back and left with a hair cut that made me look like Miley Cyrus took a weed wacker to it while Edward Scissorhands supervised. I had to stop her (who shall remain unnamed) from chopping off more! My hair was so short and looked like I needed a new cut to fix it! So horrified, I couldn’t even cry! I was still in shock when I paid and generously tipped her for something I was unhappy with. She didn’t apologize, but rationalized the excessive “layering” as necessary and said I would grow into it in a week. Huh?!?🤨 I basically paid $25 for someone to butcher my hair! Post Note: Distraught and bewildered, I returned a few hours later and another hair stylist Shawna (very sweet, compassionate, and who tried her best) “softened” the mullet but we both agreed that you can’t fix something broken. Word from the wise, peruse the reviews for this location before risking your hair and sanity. Manager was reportedly out sick all week. 💇🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️

My husband took our boys to get there hair cuts, this afternoon. Nothing complicated just a boys haircut and one of my sons came back with something that looks like a lawnmower took over his head. Juanita argued with my husband when he pointed out that the lines were not even, butchered the back of his head and none of the lines are straight. I should have read the reviews before I had him take them here but I honestly thought the haircut we were asking for wouldn't be difficult. Pictures attached don't do justice. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, or at the very least, stay away from Juanita.

Walked in without an appointment, was greeted with a friendly hello, & waited only 5 minutes. My hair stylist was friendly, non rushing, and cut my hair exactly how I wanted my hair cut. The price was reasonable, and the hair cut was perfect. I would suggest this Great Clips

No. For the stylist’s safety, we do not publish their schedules or allow customers to request them using Online Check-In. Great Clips salons use Clip Notes®, which keeps track of any previous haircut you received at a Great Clips salon, so any stylist can give you a great haircut. If you would like to request a particular stylist, be sure to say that when you arrive at the salon and finish your check-in. Note that requesting a stylist may increase your estimated wait time.
Online Check-In can be used for all services except perms and formal updos. Please note that not all salons offer perms. Most salons require an appointment for these services, so please call your local Great Clips salon to inquire.
