The lake looks beautiful for boating, but that's not what we went there for. We took our e-bikes around the lake. Bog mistake, don't do it! The path is super bumpy, except for about 5 of the 22 mile ride. Not a good path, it needs to get graded much more.

Awesome place to go and get some needed Relaxation and retreat. The only concern I would have with diamond Lake is they need to have water fountains and all the resting stops around the lake. Besides that it’s a great walk and the associates are so nice. It is a great place to go to if you want to get away and be around beauty.

Fishing license costs $16 per adult. Then there's charge $9 per fish. You can rent a boat, bring your own or just go hiking around the trail.

Had an awesome time at Diamond Valley Lake on the last day of spring break. Our family rented an uncovered pontoon boat for half a day and spent it cruising around. A few of us did a little fishing. The staff inside the store and down on the dock were all great, very thorough in getting us set up for the day.

They do have veteran discounts. 15% off boats and 5$ off parking
I have a flyer from Diamond lake. Hours are sunrise to 1 hour prior to sunset. I have the entire flyer. I love you pic. You have been working hard. Great job on the hard work!
From both I honestly feel the boat would be better you have a better chance of catching and I do have boat rentals
No kayaks allowed at all only boats.
I was on a boat fishing so I'm not sure where that picture was taken. Call the Marina the Ladies there I'm sure will help you get your answer.

Depends on your carrier. I have TMobile and it's pretty spotty. The areas I do get signal in, it's pretty reliable.
Yes the trout are biting , I believe they have two more plants for the season. Biting mostly close to the marina
Not good
No, they do not. Sit-in kayaks,only.. I know this because my mom was one of the first people to get them allowed. Hemet kayak club!
No. On or off leash. Your pet's are not allowed. They are even resistive to you simply parking in the lot with a dog on board.
Learning about the lake myself sir.. thank you for your service.🇺🇸
Yes you do.
Right after they make sure there are no flies. Don't be silly.

They lock the gate to the road that leads to the marina. The only trails accessible, as far as I know are the ones that start at the area near the front gate where you first turn in off Sanderson and near the baseball fields.
If you go to the lookout on Ortega Hwy you can see more than you can believe
Check the website for stocking schedules it makes it easier to catch them the first few days of release
Fishing seems to be better when the weather is cooler and cloudy
Sure do and have to have your Cal State fishing license as well, it's not a private lake
Why yes, yes there are! There are definitely crappie.
Yep...no problem walking the trails before closing also
