Just moved here down the street. Checking out lakes in the area. This is small but cool little spot to fish. Only open early morn til 4pm, I think. Nice.

The prices just to fish here are ridiculous! Also they close way too early, LHMWD should think about having seasonal hours rather than 4 pm. In winter that's fine, in spring and summer that's closing almost 4 hours before sunset. Ridiculous.

Awesome staff. Ernie was very friendly and ready with advise. He created a great environment for our family to fish. He even came by to check on us. Easy fishing from the shore. We didn't catch any catfish but had a load of fun with the blue gills. A lot of other people were out there also. Great family experience. Will be back soon to get that catfish.

I love this place Everytime I come here I catch at least 2 fish. And awesome for kids, get chicken liver an they won't stop catching bluegill. But if you want something bigger like me throw out a lil rooster tail and youll catch a trout garenteed. I usually catch 2 but I've walked out with 5 plenty of times. Good bass fishing too. For trout, late September til about early March.

Yes you need a license and a day pass ,a fishing stamp and entrance fee , ends up $18 dollars and i think a fee to park, i was there the day they stocked but wont go back, to small ,to expensive,
