Top rate hotel. It is in a good location but very difficult to find as it is at the end of the street located in a nice shopping area complete with department stores, boutiques, restaurants and a movie theater! The rooms are nice and airy with lush robes with the hotel name. I love the nice flat screen tv encased in a nice picture frame. The small refrigerator has a bottle opener on the side of it. The beds are very comfortable and the bedding is nice and lush. The rooms are well appointed indeed

Nice place to stay. But the check in loading and unloading was a bit unorganized and very congested. Valet is nice and professional. Last the rooms are nice but the pillows are very uncomfortable and the rooms are very small. Had a good stay but expected more out if the room.

Simply not worth the money. I was in a corner King room and it was a shoebox, way too small for the price point. Interesting decor with lots of wallpaper finishes but it was peeling up on almost every corner in the room. I came in on a busy week and was charged $500 for one night and $250 the other. Shockingly high for the quality and current maintenance of a 4-star hotel. Lobby and main floor are nice and what you would expect at an event hotel. Just make sure to get a double bedded room so you have some space.

Great hotel, amazing rooms and good food in an around the hotel. The Staff is very thoughtful and tries to help you with everything. The only bummer is, and not understandable from a German Perspektive. We were there for a wedding and after the rehearsal dinner and the wedding we came back to the hotel at around midnight and wanted to get another round with the people from the event. The hotel lobby was popping filled with people surrounding the bar just a great atmosphere but the bar already closed?? Why is the bar closed when there are 60 to a 100 people still wanting to gather have fun? Only minus on the hotel for me.

It is open now. My office is just down the street, and we all were invited to the opening.
If you call they should have the answer.
Very much soooooo! As I dined and mingled a beautiful medium sized tall poodle was receiving mad love from patrons. Most definitely fur baby friendly.
It is independent upscale to luxury hotels under Marriott hotels
No, but the avalon is like a little village with everything you need besides a hospital or clinic. It has restaurants, shops, movie theaters, spas, whole foods and yes your hotel spas etc if you go to the hotel at avalon YOU DEF HAVE TO WALK AROUND TO APPRECIATE IT. you will find a spa in the little avalon village
