On August 14, 2015 we stopped at Thurston Wolfe Winery. I read online they offer a port/dessert wine that is highly recommended. We sampled two ports, JTW 2010 Touriga Nacional and JTW Reserve 2010. The JTW Touriga Nacional has the write ups. It is excellent and would recommend it. The purchase we made was the JTW 2010 Reserve. It had a little more depth we were tasting for. We can't wait to sip this port, possibly with chocolate!

I bought a fair amount of wine here when I worked out in Seattle in the late '90's. We were particularly fond of the Syrah. The other night, prowling through my wine cellar what should I find but 4 bottles of the 1998 Syrah! My heart sank, but, what the heck, I opened the first one....and it was wonderful! No more cinnamon notes....more like a well aged Cabernet with hints of cherry and lots of fruit. I have always loved wines that age well, but had no idea that your Syrah would hold up like this. Our 2017 Sweet Rebecca was just released at the winery last weekend. Ms Rebecca was 'on vacation' since the 2013 vintage. She is back in action!
