Thus is a serious gem of a restaurant - our waitress Brooke was so sweet! Yes, it’s classic dinner food but with elevated flavor! I recommend paying the extra dollar to get waffle fries. The Big Bopper burger was amazing! Also the onion ring sauce is life changing 😂

Absolutely loved the inside. So many great photos! Originally was an old fire station. Still have the old garage door inside, along with all of your favorite diner food

Sign says pet friendly patio. We sat down outside and went in to order and the host said we cannot seat serve you - we are too busy and not enough help. I asked for to go order and he said we cannot give you to go food either. Other two groups behind us were seated.

Go for the decor; stay for the food! We had a great lunch at the beautiful Motor Company Grill in Franklin today. Main Street was all decked out for autumn! The dog-friendly outdoor patio wasn't open for service, although you could sit outside and enjoy the lovely fall weather and piped tunes while waiting for indoor seating. Not all the indoor tables were filled, either. Clearly, the staffing shortage continues to affect restaurants; this one is wisely pacing servce so every customer has a good experience. I had the blue cheese burger -- patty a little overcooked for my taste, (I asked for as close.to medium rare as possible; it was well done.) It was still good, and given the trials and tribulations these days, I'm glad someone was there to cook for us! Hubby had the Farmhouse burger, with egg just perfect on top of his burger. Don't miss the battered sweet potato fries, the fried-perfectly pickles as an appetizer (a huge serving!), the awesome onion rings with spicy dipping sauce ... and the thick and dreamy peanut butter milkshake from the classic soda fountain setup! We took half the burgers home; we were stuffed! Handy Hint: The server asked several times whether we wanted to place our entree orders. We said not until 10 minutes into our appetizer. I have learned the hard way not to order my entree at restaurants at least until the appetizer has arrived. Few things irritate as much as having to rush through the appetizer because a kitchen can't pace my meal and the entree is premature.
