COULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE HARD ENOUGH. Great staff and atmosphere. Very knowledgeable. Had a great time sifting through and the guy kept stopping by pointing out what certain rocks were and the more interesting he sat aside for us. Once inside and we sat down with a fantastic young lady that sorted through our rocks seperating each category. Till there was one that stood out to her and told us about it later. Once I heard Star Ruby , my interest peaked. When all said and done we left the ruby there for mounting. Can not say how excited we were to get it in the mail quicker than we expected. My fiance couldn't get the box open fast enough. Needless to say we were not disappointed. Planning on another trip there before the season is over for sure.

Everyone at this place was incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. Mining for gems was not only one of the most fun tourist experiences I’ve ever had, but we walked away from it with some pretty massive Emeralds and other beautiful gems too. Lyric was super patient with us and never made us feel rushed or like we didn’t know what we were doing (we don’t) and the staff inside the shop talked to us at length about where the gems came from and what we could do with the beautiful ones we found. I highly recommend that you stop by this place when you’re in the area!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff with great personal service. You will learn a ton, while having a great time planning for gold or mining for precious and semiprecious gems. Carl and Nick were amazing! Would recommend for families or couples. Dog friendly. Lovely shop with cut and set gems by local family. They make it fun and educational with very comfortable facilities. You can have your finds expertly cut and set also, for a reasonable price.
