Walked in to check it out. 3 kids behind the counter just staring at their phones. No greeting, they didn't even bother to look up. Zero customer service in this particular game stop.

Employees are always pleasant and helpful but prices and availability just aren't what they used to be. They have a deal right now 4 games for 10$ for any game $5 or less... I only found one game that cost less than $5... there's no way to take advantage of this deal. The Employees noted that they are well aware and that they don't have any control of the deals that they offer. Corporate does.

They're always accepting applications at all locations but go in ask for the hiring manager

I don't think they purchase phones. You might want to call them directly to be sure but I only see games and consoles there.
If it's still under warranty I would suggest contacting Sony directly. If not , you might want to try one of those you break it we fix it places. GameStop will not be able to to do much since they are sales personnel and not techs. I had an issue with my console reading the disks and had it fixed at one of those fix it places because the warranty ended the month before. Good luck and I hope that you find a solution soon!
