Expecially a nice place if you are camping. They have all sorts of refrigerated meats, bread, all juice and water and ice. Ice was stocked Even on memorial day weekend. Prices are not bad either. Just a nice little market.

1 of 2 grocery stores in Borrego Springs. Wider range here than other store, but higher prices. Employees seem disinterested in being there. I was particularly disappointed in the produce area - lack of cleanliness and quality of produce. Since I mostly buy perishables locally I've only shopped here 3-4 times in 1yr. Even Mirage Gas & Liquor is preferable to this store for basic items. MUCH cheaper to get non-perishable items from Amazon/Walmart & have delivered. I guess this store is okay if you're visiting/passing through or like paying a premium price for mediocre products. As a year-round resident I've looked elsewhere.

Borrego Springs largest grocery store and market. Lot of nooks and crannies where they have all kinds of stuff tucked away. Unfortunately there is no hot deli however cold sandwiches are made fresh daily.

Center market Is a treat I look forward to when I visit Borrego Springs every time. It has the coolest stuff, endlessly good food and variety. Really good natural products for health including bulk tinctures. And really fun gifts. The owner, Mitzi, Has created a shop that is old style -full of her personality and her taste meeting a broad need in a diverse community. I really appreciate her view of the world through the products she offers.

I suggest you give them a call or do you add Internet search and see I'm do not live in Borrego so I don't know the answer to that I just go through there occasionally Merry Christmas
They have a lot of picnic ready items but not a full delicatessen. The only counter service is their butcher.
My family visited the market today. I found some great staples and delicacies such as tofu, tempeh, tvp, vegan cheeses, soyrizo, tofurky deli meats and sausages, veganaise, almond/soy milk, field roast & lightlife products, etc. A little more pricey than I usually pay, but I can't complain. And the lines were long too (must be the 3-day holiday) but the cashiers got us in and out with no fuss. Can't wait to return...thank you for providing us veg people with our plant-based goodies :)
8 am to 8 pm every day. They were open on both Christmas day and Thanksgiving day in 2017
