Taken my work boots to get the soles repaired. they glued them and just screwed the heel on which began penetrating the insole and sticking my foot. The sole separated within 4 months, and began flapping while at work. Fortunately, I had another pair of shoes to put on for the remainder of the work day. I took them.back and this time repairman cut the soles to stitch them while that may be what he thought would do the trick, two months later the boot heel began separating from the shoe. I spent good money each time, no discounts even when they didn't repaired on date promised. Had to leave out of town without boots and returned only to find they still hadnt gotten the repairs completed. Not willing to go a 3rd time. I'll try Ruby's in Vista. Need my boots repaired properly for the $$ I'm willing to spend.

Delay after delay, after delay. Brought in a luggage for a zipper repair. Took it in to Doart Shoe Repair well in advance, more than a month before I needed the luggage. Front clerk mentioned she would call me when ready, saying it would take about 3 weeks to turn around. I said that's fine. After all, I had more than a month before I needed it anyway. 3 weeks later no call. At 3 weeks and 4 days since luggage drop off, I head over to pick it up thinking it'd be ready. Front clerk says it's not ready and to come back later in the day before close and it'd be ready by then. I said I'd be back first thing tomorrow morning to pick up. Next morning, I come in at opening time. And I see that my luggage hadn't been touched or repaired. Front clerk said come back in a few hours. I left went home; After a few more hours, I finally got the call that it had been repaired. Quality of the work was great. Its very disappointing that they dropped the ball so many times. I like the old school vibe of the store and the small business that it is. I won't be coming back here for any future repairs.

Very Disappointed went there for a sole repair And specifically ask them to do nothing else to the boots when they were picked up they are now shiny and bright black when they are supposed to be a matte black color It’s a rough and tough leather that is supposed to be only shampooed and they ruined my boots and put color in a boot that is supposed to be a matte black color . I don’t know if will be using this place again they don’t follow instructions and do more than what is asked them thinking the boot was old and assuming they were faded Now they look horrible and not what I wanted at all .
