Can they replace the sole- the outside bottom of the shoe? I would wear a pair of casual shoes and use a pair of hiking boots but both have bad soles- dry rot I think.

I have a feeling they can handle it. I'll tell you this you could certainly walk them in there and they let you know if they can handle it at no charge
