Enjoyed a great day on the Green River and through the Wildlife Managent Area on a father-son adventure. Took the longer 2 - 21/2 hour float and made time to make a few rope swing plunges…use at your own risk. . Finished at the clearly marked exit signs and greeted by Jacob. At first thought just one of the staff but he is the owner, manager and was the bus driver today! The business was started by his grandfather and it is a first class operation. Easy check in, will hold onto keys, clean bathroom changing area and plenty of parking. River is dam fed off the Saluda Lake and is a cool water. Look for trout, they enjoy these waters. Thank you Green River Cove. Awesome!!

Great experience, took the short run. Plenty of rapids great scenery, not too crowded, bus was there to pick us up quick, inexpensive. And yes, you just grab a tube and walk right into the river. Quit reading reviews and go!

We used to go tubing every year on the Delaware river when we lived up north. This was our first time here. A lot of the reviews had me nervous since they are level 1 & 2 rapids. (NY didn't label) We almost didn't bring the kids (5 & 9). But thankfully we did. The kids had a blast! It was not at all scary for them. Sure they got a couple of scraps on the legs from branches, but you are out in the wilderness. I didn't bring my camera for fear of loosing it (it is waterproof). I will next time. Would have loved to capture all the memories of turtles & water fun. Didn't bring our floating cooler or rope to tie the tubes together cause I thought they might overturn or make us overturn more. Definitely will next time. My kids are good swimmer so next time I won't even make them wear the life vests. The water isn't deep & not very rough at all.

I think it's actually at 4
You're fine.
There are more rapids on the 2nd half the leg, but they are tubing rapids, not kayak rapids, so dont get too excited.
There are snakes but nothing that wants to eat you. Snakes can be seen crossing the river or laying on rocks. They want nothing to do with you.
Yes and no. You can show up anytime and hit the river within minutes of you paying for the tube. Once you are off, you might have to wait a few minutes for a bus to come scoop you up. So while you don't have to wait for a specific time to get in, you might have to wait for a bit once you are out to get back.
yes. They have cooler tubes that have a bottom in them that would fit a small or medium dog (up to 20-25lbs) at most I'd think. I took my 5 lb dog and she rode on my shoulder like a parrot, but did well. I put her in a life jacket also with her leash attached in case she should fall in.
Most of the trip down river is ankle to knee deep but there is some spots that are deep enough to swim in halfway down the 2 hour ride theres a rope swing the water there is deep enough where u dont touch bottom when you swing out
