Stopping glass recycling is absolutely insane. People are using more glass nowadays because we know that it is the safest material compared to plastics. Glass is NOT BIODEGRADABLE - it would take a million years if not longer for one single bottle to be decomposed. Do you even realize what's gonna happen to our county within a few years? All those glass containers and bottles are gonna end up in the environment until we're up to our ears of glass. Regardless of the equipment and glass processing machinery costs, the investments are well worth in the long run for us and our children if we don't want to find ourselves suffocated by trash.
