A lot of cool stuff to find! The only thing I couldn't find was bookends. You won't find those here. Also there is a lot of toxic chemicals off-gassing going on in this store so not very healthy to work there.

I have always enjoyed shopping at Hobby Lobby until TODAY. My boyfriend and I were shopping with our baby for my sons first birthday party and materials for my boyfriends business and not only we were followed around the store by associates and managers we couldn’t even shop in peace, when we were finally ready to check out we noticed that managers and associates were standing by the door as if we were going to run out while all the merchandise we were PURCHASING. Extremely insulting and I really cannot believe we were racially profiled. Extremely angry with this incident.

I love Hobby Lobby and always have. We just moved to San Diego from St Louis and my hubby & I have visited the San Marcos Hobby Lobby a couple of times now. It's a really nice store. Not laid out exactly the way other stores I've visited - but that's not a bad thing, just a different thing - the space is laid out a little differently because of the location, I'm sure. The employees seem as friendly here as they were in St Louis - and as always, the same great quality products as everywhere.

Yes, however most of them have religious overtones. Don't expect very funny or even naughty cards.

You'll have to call the store to ask about inventory.
Just like it is at every other box store in town. Masks are required physical, distancing is asked but is not always possible in every aisle. They have plastic shields at the registers and do customer counts. The best thing to do though is not ask random people on the internet but to call the store themselves and to get the answers from them or visit their website where they are also posted.
