Very nice park though rather small. Biggest problem right now is the fact that the water is so low there's not much left in the little Bay. Hopefully that will turn around soon. Also parking is limited so best to get there early or late. Kayaks can be rented next door and wheeled over to the Sandy Beach for lunch which is nice.

This is a lovely park next to Big Bear Lake that we spent about half an hour at on our way to an Airbnb further into Big Bear. There’s a long green patch of grass for kids to run around and stretch their legs. There are also relatively clean restrooms. You can rent kayaks nearby to go down the dock on the lake. Note that the ramp down to the dock is a bit slippery, and there are large gaps in the railing that kids can easily fall through into the water, so keep an eye on your little ones.

A very nice park, very clean. Probably a good place for a picnic. Decent but not the best view of the lake. Parking was easy. There were bathrooms here. There was a nice wooden bear statue to take a picture with. There was a path leading down to the lake so you had access to the water.

This is a decent little park to stroll around and maybe have a picnic or to just enjoy the views. There aren't any play structures for the kids to play on. There are restrooms that are clean. The walk paths are paved.

I believe since it's a holiday, you might be able to make this work!
Not right now , I guess for the covid.
I would recommend Boulder Bay Park. But please be mindful of the lake weed that grows abundantly in the bay. I have had to save many swimmers (literally had them going under) who swim to far out from shore, towards the island, and become fatigued due to the drag from swimming through the weed. Also, the island in Bolder Bay is private property and i have seen on multiple occasions lake patrol issuing citations for trespassing. Enjoy and be safe.
There isn't a playground here, but there is a large grass area, and you can walk down on the sand to the water. You can feed the ducks, or rent kayaks down the street. As someone with kids I'd say bring a fishing pole and some bread, but definitely more of a 1-2 kinda place unless you have a kayak or small boat.
And
Yes.
It its a ticketing offence if you go 30 ft past shore line. The island in private and posted and also a ticketing offence. People do swim to it but not advised.
Boulder park is the only place you can swim in Big Bear Lake that I know of
Yes, but as a safety measure for your animal as well as others, please use a leash and potty bags. You can tell the dogs LOVE it there! So Much to Smell! :)
Yes
I don't think so!
