Sensory overload of colors and squishy softness. The shop is approaching its 10 year anniversary this October 2022.

They were filming in the area so I didn't get to go in but the location is good and I'll be back for sure.

The lovely owner of this boutique yarn store let me use her yarn winder so my holiday wouldn't be knitting free. Thanks so much! Also bonus wander around the incredible Last Bookstore where the yarn shop is nestled inside.

At the top of the art tower is Gather DTLA. Very nice, well decorated and good feel. I started crocheting in the gallery adjacent to it!

Questions & Answers

For the classes what are the fee, or membership, are this classes held often, and if I need to enroll before, or first come first serve

Thanks for asking! We have classes here pretty regularly throughout each month, the schedule is available on our website https://www.togatherdtla.com/learn/ We'll be putting the fall schedule up in the next week or two. The fees vary depending on which class you sign up for, but are generally between $45-$85. And yes, you do need to sign up at least 24 hours ahead of class time. You can do that on the website, over the phone, or in person here at the shop.

How much $ classes ?

Intro Knitting and Crochet classes start at $45 for one three hour session. Other class costs vary depending on length of the class and whether materials are included or not. Thanks for asking!

Do they stock RedHeart SuperSaver brand yarn?

Rowena Duncan | Aug 26, 2018
Erika Gonzalez | Aug 26, 2018

Nope. Those are big box store brands like Michael's or Joann's. this is a local yarn shop specializing in natural fibers.

I would like to know about prices and if the store uses coupons?

CJ Baca | Aug 26, 2018

Prices are about the same local yarn shops. They sell high quality yarn and not acrylic you can get at Joann or Michael. They don't generally havr coupons but have sales once in a while.
