Alabama does a good job with trucker parking at their rest areas. The welcome center is smaller than the other rest areas but during the day it’s easy to find parking for a quick stop or short break. As I was leaving I noticed there was a trail I could’ve walked on. Plenty of room to walk the dog a few laps. You can go up a small hill a few times to exercise yourself and your dog.

It's so Beautiful here! Love all the flowers!🌺 They are so friendly! When we arrived there there was a group handing out ice cool water. Thank you to them! Also there was a Lady at the service desk she gave me some some Alabama coffee mugs to give to my cousin's visiting us from CA. Thank you my cousin Loved them, She said thank you from Alabama visiting center for the cups! We also took pics at this rest stop so beautiful! Enjoy our stop here!

The restrooms were clean along with well maintained grounds. Loved the rockers and water fountains going in on the front, just made it feel welcoming. I've stopped at many welcome centers traveling with my husband in his semi and this is on my to three.

Every Alabama Welcome Center is clean and well maintained. The facility is well lighted and a safe place.
You can sleep in your car in the daytime like an nap. I believe some of the truckers sleep all night, but personaly would not sleep at night there
