Vermin ator

Puts our NC rest areas to shame. A Keurig, with a boatload of choices? We do not have anything like this at the two rest areas I frequent in NC. A vending machine with things to entertain the little travelers such as puzzle books & matchbox cars? Wonderful. Another vending machine with lady needs & OTC meds was available & working. Many drink selections are available. As well as another vending machine with food items such as vienna sausages & baked beans. All the machines worked and had the ability to accept credit cards for payments. The lawn is well cared for as are the facilities. Super clean restrooms. Picnic tables were cleaned. Thank you TNDOT & citizens of TN for a memorable, (in a very good way) visit to your rest area. It was great!

Very large rest area. Huge truck/RV parking lot. Restrooms clean and fully supplied including hot water (appreciated as my hands were cold). Nice cast concrete picnic tables, some with shelters. Shelters need maintenance, plenty of rotten wood. Bonus feature of a cemetery. Lovely plantings of hellebores on grounds.

The gentleman who was working in the guest area was so helpful. He had some great suggestions on where we should visit. Both individuals working greeted us as we walked in which we loved! Also, thought this sign was neat to see to help encourage people to exercise ❤
