Be weary of the waterfall steps down. Its extremely long and I would not recommend for anyone not in tip top physical shape. A chore is putting it lightly. The facility was clean and well kept. A great outdoor adventure. I recommend viewing the lookouts the most. They were incredible

I absolutely loved this park. Great marked trails from easy to moderate level. Amazing view of the canyon, 2 waterfalls and great scenery overall. It wasn't very crowded and I went on a Saturday. $5 entrance fee, well worth it.

This hike was well worth the 2.5 commute from where I live. The waterfalls are amazing!! This is a very difficult hike so be prepared to bring water and definitely hiking boots. The gorge is easy to come down but the trip coming out the gorge is another story haha

This review is for day hiking only. We didn’t camp in the park. My husband and I visited Cloudland Canyon with our dog on Thursday, December 23, 2022. It wasn’t crowded at all. Parking is $5 per car. We did the West Rim Loop Trail (about 5 miles) in 2 hours and 45 minutes. It offered some nice views and wasn’t too difficult. We wish we had gone in the fall for even better views though. We also did the Overlook Trail (1 mile), which took about 20 minutes. Very good signage. They did a great job marking the trails. There was ample parking when we went. Bathrooms with running water and soap. Picnic tables and shelters. My only complaint is there weren’t any trash cans or doggy waste baskets anywhere on the trails, only in the parking lots. Obviously it’s not the Grand Canyon, but it was still pretty cool! We recommend!

Its worth it if you plan to hike. There's not much else to do. The hiking trails are beautiful. I highly recommend the Outer Rim Loop trail or the Sutton Gap trail. The Sutton Gap trail is longer but easier. It starts at the base of the mountain at a trailhead thats behind a neighborhood called Canyon Estates. It goes right up to the waterfalls. The waterfall trail that starts inside the park in a LOT of stairs, so if you try that one, be prepared for a workout. There are also playgrounds and a little information center with animal exhibits.
The stairs to the waterfalls are not dog friendly though, their feet can't take the metal grates.
Not in the park itself, but yes close by.plus the Tennessee river at or around Chattanooga. I am a yaker myself. Plus here around Ga.and the Oconee river ,Ocoee rapids and whitewater.I live 20 minutes away. There's 100s oh places to Kayaking within minutes. I belong to KAYAK FISHING FOR CHRIST, I am on fb beglad to give you address. James FALLS. Thanks there a waterfall in the campgrounds.TENN RIVER,NICKLAJACK LAKE,LAKE CICKAMAGH.
You can get an annual pass for about $50.00 that is good for all GA state parks. I am not sure if you have to be a resident of GA.
At the waterfall there is but you have to hike to it
Yes sir, we were able to setup a hammock.
