Staff is Awesome ! Kind, Caring, Knowledgeable, Professional . I know my Kitty is in Good Hands ! I adopted "Honey" 1 year ago from Corona Animal Shelter. The shelter made arrangements to have her Spayed at Animal Center of Corona. I picked my kitty up after her procedure to bring her home there. The Staff informed me, advised me how to care for my fur baby, & was always available to handle NY concerns & questions. I knew the first impression that not only was "Honey in great hands ,Iwas as well. No Doubt. I have also had her nails trimmed ,& recently all 3 of her vaccinations. I highly recommend Animal Medical Center of Corona !!!!!!

When I first had to take my rabbits to the veterinarian I was unsure as to where to take them. I had heard horror stories of people's bunnies dying when getting spayed/neutered or receiving any treatment/medication because rabbits are so sensitive and delicate. Bunny Bunch, a no kill rabbit rescue has a list of veterinarians that they recommend on their website. Since they won't just add anyone to their list I felt comfortable picking from there. The Animal Medical Center of corona was on this list and let me tell you, they're amazing! They give the RHDV2 Vaccine here too. One time my rabbit had GI stasis and even though they were booked they accommodated us and squeezed us in their busy schedule. One of my rabbits also showed symptoms of possibly having ear mites and got taken care of right away. Their staff is always so friendly and Valerie who always helps me is amazing, kind, and understanding. I drive 25+ miles one way to take my bunnies here and it's well worth the drive. Thank you!

Everyone is so sweet and so helpful! I always have such a positive experience anytime I bring in my fur babies. The follow ups for my baby after her cruciate repair were always great. I was very hesitant to switch vets, but I am so glad that I did! Thank you to everyone at Animal Medical Center of Corona - you guys are truly wonderful!

Definitely the best vet clinic I have EVER been too! Very clean, inviting, very friendly staff and exceptional service! They took care of the 12 Cane Corso puppies docking their tails with follow up on their well being! Loved the overall care. Our Corso mom and dad will have a new vet home for their life! Mom already has appointment to get fixed 😊

What types of pet Insurance do you accept

Annette Hernandez | Aug 25, 2020
Bart Huber | Aug 25, 2020

We accept all pet insurances since we have them reimburse you. We don't accept payment from the companies as many of them will say one thing then pay another and we have to call the clients to collect. It's been a real pain. So, we have the client pay us in full, we'll fill out any necessary paperwork on your claim form, provide copies of the medical record and have your insurance reimburse you. We no longer accept discount plans such as Pet Assure or United Pet Care. They are not really insurance plans, just discount plans for the pet owner but really have no value to the practice.

hi, do you have Spanish speaking staff, my wife only speak Spanish. How much do you charge for general check up on a 9 years old Labrador retriever, look healthy so far. Thank you

Yes, we have multiple Spanish speakers. None of the doctors do,but many of our nurses and front office staff are fluent. Office call/exam is $40 with an appointment.

how much does it cost to spay a female dog

Juliya Skye Baca | Aug 25, 2020
Bart Huber | Aug 25, 2020

Hello Juliya, thanks for contacting us. There are so many variables that go along with spaying a dog (cost wise). It varies on weight as well as "extras: you may want to add on. The routine spay includes an exam, IV catheter, pre-surgical antibiotics and pain management injections, anesthesia (every patient has a dedicated nurse that monitors the anesthesia from beginning to end, we monitor O2, CO2, Heart rate, blood pressure and temperature every 5 minutes). Some is with them until they are fully awake. Blood work in dogs under 7 is optional but recommended as are medications to go home. There are additional fees if in heat or pregnant. With all this said, the basic spay for a dog under 20 pounds starts at $280. It is important that as you price shop you make sure what that fee includes. Many places just quote the spay but then add on stuff when you come in. This price includes everything I mentioned that is included but not the extras. If you want more info, give us a buzz!

What about Stones, our dog all ready had surgery but the stones returned ?????

Patti Brown | Aug 25, 2020
Bart Huber | Aug 25, 2020

Hello Mr. Brown, I am going to assume you are not a client as I did not find this name in our data base. Stones have different sources, certain ones like Struvite and it's associated family members are usually diet related and that can be addressed. Others such as urate really don't respond to diet and a pet can get them repeatedly. This is not uncommon in breeds like Min Schnauzers. Genetics plays a role in these cases. So, without knowing the type of stones and breed, it's really hard to answer your question in any more detail. I do hope this helps and feel free to give us some more details. Dr. Bart
