Their egg bagel is the bomb diggity! They bake their bread well! The staff is friendly, but swift. I asked for cream cheese on the side and was charged accordingly, but I was accidentally given butter. I still recommend stopping in. They offer dine in and take out.

Best bagels in SRQ period. Very wide selection, great add ons like many cheeses, roast beef, ham, etc. like being in a candy store & not knowing what to buy. Great great service but….limited seating, Einstein Bros serves raw bagels & no way can come even close to Lox N Egg. Have been a steady here for 20 years. Even then when they were Manhattan Bagels.

Don’t recommend. Just because you take bread dough, shape it into a bagel, boil it does not make it a bagel. It makes a nasty round tough piece of circle bread. Every passed deli owner, Whether they’re from New York or Montreal will be turning in their graves, if people think this is a real bagel. Shame on you. Bagels are simple to make

Even though the owner is rude and seemingly a little jerky and they charge for slicing and buttering the bagel ... the bagel speaks for itself. They make a decent bagel. Let's not compare it to a first run bagel company. It's good but not a Big League bagel.
