I ordered okra soup. Unfortunately, the food smelled horrible and the taste was inedible. I had to throw the food away. One star because the customer service is good. Go to Steaming Pots restaurant for african food. I promise you won’t be disappointed.

PLEASE READ. BEFORE EATING HERE First and last time trying the okra soup with beef and chicken with fufu and when I say it was nothing less then nasty I don’t know what the flavor they were going for but it tasted like dish detergent. The meat was not edible at all and I should’ve known from when I walked it and it smelled like the church bathroom. But customer service was nice only reason they got 1 star and the fact I can’t give 0, but for a shot they were going to charge $10 dollars bad enough I paid so much for nasty food but I think she offered to get us a drink so disguise how nasty the food was.

Everyone was very kind here. The flavor of the food was ok, but one piece of goat meat I tried to eat was old, all of it was chewy, very small portioned. Price was ridiculously high for what they was serving. This was a one time experience, unfortunately. Also, they charge $10 for one beer . Don’t waste your money .

Found my new lunch spot!! I've been in Florida about 2 years now and would wait until I traveled to NY for the holidays to get nigerian food because there's not many good ones over here but this one hit home. I got egusi soup with the 2 beef and fish with poundo and it was so good I ate it in the parking lot didn't even make it home smh. Only thing is I wish it was spicier but I probably should've said that over the phone. For those saying that it is over priced for the serving you receive I believe it is enough for one person. As for the price everything has gone up because of covid especially the price of meat if you cook you would realize that and I would rather quality over quantity anyway. Its like this in ALL restaurants. Also some of these reviews on here/yelp are misleading nigeran food isn't for everyone's taste and it is disrespectful to insult our culture. Research before trying something you know you won't like. This business is awesome keep doing yall thing!
