I ordered take out food due to quick lunch, received my food, went back to hotel and I had no utensils to eat with or condiments. I called the restaurant and they said we don't provide it unless you ask according California law. Then she proceeded to tell me that I should have read the note on their board, who reads all the small print in a restaurant? I'm a visitor from New Mexico. I'm here because of a family emergency. I didn't read the laws of California before I came. What about apologizing? That would have been nice. I'm not spending my money there again!

The quality of service at atmosphere is like a step backward in time... and I absolutely loved it. The service staff was courteous, friendly, personable, and everything is 55-year-old man remembers from what restaurants used to be. The music being played overhead was very soft so that it shouldn't interrupt conversation, and it was playing very mellow tunes from oldies to modern... with no hip hop or club music. I will definitely be visiting here with my son again. As a late note, after eating at this restaurant a second time, we had an elderly woman as our server. No matter what you do, if you have an elderly woman as your server, request a different server... she was definitely not up to the task

Good food come here all the time the only problem that I see is that when it gets really busy quality seems to drop the host seats everybody at the same time the kitchen starts to get lots of tickets then quality starts falling down today I had a lumberjack as always it's good and tasty but eggs were burnt pancakes were burnt hash browns were mush but other than that I love this restaurant best fresh food way better than Denny's or IHOP

Amazing experience. Ebe did a wonderful job. I got the country-fried steak - it was incredible. The quantity of food is a lot more than anticipated, so that was a bonus too. Please do yourself a favor and pay a visit to J & M's Family Restaurant.
