Like most parks in Irvine - a simple, safe, clean park with bathrooms and ball playing fields. Great place to park and run the off-road trail that runs north to Portola Avenue, (cross Jeffrey Road to continue into the Jeffrey Open Space Trail) and south all the way to Harvard Boulevard, The trail that starts at Hicks has parallel dirt and asphalt trail. The asphalt section is well-lit for a night walk/run.

Great and peaceful trail in the neighborhood. It's rare that you get such a nice trail in the center of the city! Love it. The very end of the trail is under construction, but you can still enjoy pretty much all of it. Also the way the trees are watered is interesting!

This is the way I love the most. Walking every day for 5 years, in my mouth Oh! I am happy! This road is all beautiful from dawn to night!
