Bell Creek Nature Preserve

I went here for the first time today and was overall disappointed. The nearby facility (which has the bathrooms) is closed and by the looks out it doesn't seem to have been open any time recently. Additionally, the trail itself offers very, very little shade which is imperative with the Florida sun. Our hike wasn't so bad today as it was only 70° but I couldn't imagine walking there during the summer. As far as views, there really isn't much to see either. For me, this place is just ok.

Nice little walk, very open area that overlooks a lake. Only saw this friendly Gopher tort along the trail but was still a nice day out to enjoy the views.

This preserve is very well-maintained. No trash on or off the trail. Very quiet and peaceful.

Great nature preserve. There is a small pond which is really peaceful and a portion of the trail is paved. They have lots of informational pamphlets in the office.
