What an improvement. The new manager April has done a wonderful job of cleaning up the property and making it safe. I've lived in the area for 15 years and that complex was always trouble. It's so much better in the last months. I hope it continues to change and become a safe place for all. Low income housing doesn't mean it has to be a ghetto. Certainly refreshing to see such a skilled manager.

I wrote a review around this time last year, and am writing another one to say how pleased I am that things are just as good, if not better, than they were then, thanks to our manager, Suzy. She regularly keeps us informed about how the company is handling the covid situation, and while we haven't always been able to see her in the office, she always has the time to explain any concerns on the phone. And thankfully, she returns calls promptly. She's always helpful, pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable. We're blessed to have her after a long stretch of many managers in the 18 years my granddaughter and I have been here. Mike, our maintenance supervisor, is a steady, reliable worker, always pleasant, courteous, very capable, and willing to do the job quickly. He diagnoses problems accurately, and I believe he can fix anything. I trust him completely. The grounds are always well maintained and trash is picked up quickly, and any issues are taken care of. I don't know Eric very well but the few dealings I've had with him have been pleasant and friendly.

Living here at Cedarwest has been great. A lot of credit goes to the Operations Manager Suzy and the maintenance team. We are lucky to have them. Both Suzy and maintenance are very professional, customer service oriented, friendly, and polite. Suzy once told me her job was all about "happy tenants." I have called Suzy many times, with questions, and she always seems to contact me right away. I really like that, especially, because both she and maintenance are incredibly busy. I don't know how she can juggle so many things at one time. When I first moved in, the apartment was very clean and had no odd smells. The lawn is always mowed, and the grounds look great, especially in the spring and summer when the flowers bloom. Also, the whole complex is very well lit at night. For me, the rent price is a Godsend especially for such a nice place. Another cool thing about Cedarwest is that you can rent a pretty large garage. Also, people here love that we are just a few minutes walk from lots of stores, shopping, and bus lines. We have Safeway, Walgreens, Big Lots, Costco, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Subway, and lots more. In addition, we are super close to the hospital and many doctors offices. A couple of months after I moved in the refrigerator broke down. I called Suzy, and maintenance was here, toolbox in hand, in less then 20 minutes. He was very polite, courteous, and was even wearing a face mask. He had the fridge back up and running within two hours. It has not had a problem since ! I believe that most tenants watch out for each other and just want to live in peace.

Recent changes in management have greatly improved the quality of life for tenants. Professionalism and integrity have returned. Suzy has made great strides in cleaning up the messes left by the previous short term management and improving tenant morale. Her cheerful professionalism is a welcome and refreshing upgrade.
