A really great apartment building with fantastic management. Amenities are so-so, but the rooftop deck and bike room are lovely. The location is top-notch, it allows dogs, and for Bend, the prices aren't bad.

Apartment living is new to me, but so far I’m enjoying the Hixon, meeting new people and the office staff are always helpful. I even decided to renew my lease!

The complex is in an awesome location right across the street from Safeway and within a short distance from tons of trails. Management is also very responsive and helpful. HOWEVER, there are issues. The walls are paper thin and my unit doesn’t have any drawers. It kinda seems like our unit was just thrown together. Towel rods and even a piece of molding just simply fell off the wall when I first moved in. I’ve also had my dryer replaced at least twice since September.... Still a great place to live. Really can’t beat the location and price.
