Zydeco has been one of our favorite places to eat in Bend for over 12 years. Always from scratch in the kitchen with special emphasis on great tasting combinations and consideration of healthy eating dishes. Two of our favorite dishes are the redfish and draper cast iron chicken. Ring of fire is our favorite drink

First: make a reservation! We went on a Monday around 5:30 and everything was booked. They do have some seating at the bar, but even that was filled. Every single thing on our plates was delicious! Our stakes were moist and cooked exactly as asked. The Crispy Tuna appetizer was to die for! I could've ordered one of those for myself and left happy. Our waitress, Mara, was delightful and on the spot any time we needed her. Would love to return on our next visit to Bend!

Great food. Excellent staff! Dog friendly. Heated outdoor. Try the BBQ shrimp and grits cake! A-maze-ing! The drinks were not so good. I had a hurricane. Treated more like rubbing alcohol and bitters from grapefruit. I felt like I could breath fire. Not good. Too heavy handed and not enough balance of sweet and bitter. My husband had a virgin bloody Mary. Not good. If you are going to make a virgin bloody Mary that just means leave out the booze. Not the flavor, salt, garnish. This just feel flat in taste and presentation. 2 thumbs down. Also, there is no sugar free options. Not diet. But sugar free. That said, the food and service definitely pushed this over the top for me and I'll be back! I can't wait to try other menu items!

We had a delightful summertime outdoor dining experience here with amazing food! The bbq shrimp appetizer lived up to the hype! The sauce was worth every calorie! Our salads and entrees were delightful as well! I can’t wait to return to try some more of their amazing food!
