We have been to this camp ground several times over the past couple of years and we have always enjoyed our stay. This last time we received a noise complaint, and the owner was very rude when addressing it. After he had addressed it with the main group, he cornered my wife as she was walking back to our camper and berated her and made her highly uncomfortable. It was not the addressing of the noise complaint that was the issue, it was the unprofessional and inappropriate way it was communicated. That has led to the negative review. We will not be staying at this camp site again nor will we be suggesting a stay here.

Yes 16 dollars a night
No, we were booked for two nights but only stayed one night. FYI, no refunds. We were in a tent. For us, there were too many barking dogs and crowing roosters in the neighborhood. Trains also went by extremely close blowing their horns every couple of hours throughout the day and night. Being in a camp trailer or motorhome I'm sure would help block the noise. But for tent camping it meant a sleepless night. Our lot didn't have a fire pit either which added to our frustrations. However, the facility bathrooms and laundry were very clean. It is unfortunate for the owners that the location was so noisy.
