Very informative and I found that the china matched my dress colors. Never knew how many times money has changed over the years.

It was fun and informative we had a blast. We spent hours there. If I had one piece of constructive criticism is too put more hand sanitizing stations at the exhibits where you touch things.

Never heard of this museum until we came on vacation and were looking for things to do. Was pleased with the format where it guides you naturally from the pre-Columbian history of the area to colonial times through Civil War up to today. Also liked the fire exhibit although I wish it was more focused on the actual local fire events than just about general fire facts.

Very nice museum that breaks down Wilmington's history. They have lots of interactive exhibits for children. Everyone should visit this place at least once. They have a board for the public to make suggestions on what to add in the expansion as well. Bathrooms are easily accessible and there is elevators/stairs inside. Very clean with pleasant staff.

Just $3. I've been to the museum of the bizarre many times. If anyone is into the weird and bizarre, that's the best place to go. They even definitely have alot of Harry Houdini's personal effects including the magic props he used. 😊😊🤗🤗❤️❤️
Hi! Most people plan around 2 hours if you want to really read through the history tour and see the traveling exhibits. We hope you plan a visit!
With renovations still happening from the hurricane, I do not think they have items for sale. There is no store. They used to have items at the front desk, but very limited.
Museum admission is currently free to all people as we complete repairs related to Hurricane Florence. We reopen today at 9 am. A majority of our exhibits are ready and open but some of our upstairs gallery is still under renovation.
