It was wonderful! Nice to sit and look at MT. SASHTA. We blue Heron parent know their nest. Don't know if the babies are here yet! Plus, saw a Bald Eagle nest with parent. It was nice and warm. Great day!

Went on Feb 2022… it was pretty dry… literally no water fouls.. have seen close to 10 bald eagles.. seen coyotes and some other birds.. otherwise pretty dry.. hope to come back when there enough rain and snow… bald eagles are all on pretty much in one place…

Everything was very dry and essentially no lakes were to be seen. The area is beautiful and we did see many hawks but no more than 6 bald eagles. This area is a testament to the dry conditions we are seeing throughout the state and the warming of our planet.

Awesome that this is right here in our backyard. We saw so many eagles today... took my breath away.

All dogs must be on leash so they dont disturb wildlife. Be sure to keep you dog out of the water. There is currently a very bad botulism outbreak. Hunting dogs are permitted during duck season.
