This is a very nice local history museum. The highlight of our visit was the first order lens from the St Georges reef light house. It can be observed from two different floors, so you get top and bottom closeup views.

So much to see, I know we could come back 100 times and see something new everytime. The people running it were so sweet and made my kids feel special.

Local home-town museum. Lots to look at. Probably too much! Some displays are really well-done (especially the fresnel lens). Others are somewhat hodgepodge, but that's typical of a home-town museum. They even use the space in jail cells for display. A few of the displays are not easy to see because you are blocked off, or the display is behind reflective glass or behind jail cell bars. But for the price, this is a pretty nice museum.
