This hotel delivers and then some. Large spacious rooms, well detailed , clean and friendly service. BEWARE: IF you have a balcony odd number room on the 3rd floor, you "balcony" is looking out on a common terrace where kids play and every one has an unobstructed view into your room (website doesn't mention that). I got a very unpleasant surprise when checking in but front desk , after some lame excuse, found a perfect balcony room with a real balcony without praying eyes. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel

Overall our stay is good. Hotel is decent and has all the amenities we need for our short stay. We arrived super late on a Thursday night and the girl at check in was nice. The pool is clean. There’s a sign in the hotel that says smoking in the hotel and all public places is prohibited but people were smoking at the rooftop pool which was a nuisance. Saturday afternoon we walked in our hotel room after lunch and it was sticky and muggy. We thought maybe housekeeping had the door open to outside. Thermostat was at 78. We left the room and went to the pool and when we got back the room was still 78. We double checked the thermostat was set at 68. We called downstairs and they sent someone up and we were told it was working. Waited a bit and the thermostat wasn’t getting below 77. Called again and the guy at the front desk came up and confirmed it wasn’t working and we were told we could have a new room the next day and they sent up some fans. In the morning we checked with the girl at the front desk and she said she would have engineering come up. Came back from brunch and she said that the engineer said it was fixed and told us to make sure we were keeping the sliding glass door closed (we were not keeping it open). She was a little rude and seemed to imply it was us and not the AC. Several hours later the room is still not cool and we had to call down again. The room is muggy and humid which is not how it was our first day here. It’s been such a hassle to get a new room and it’s almost like the girl at the front desk just doesn’t want to help. I’m looking at the thermostat as I write this and it says the Room temp is 77 and the thermostat is set to 68. It’s been like this since last night. So there is definitely something wrong with the unit and has nothing to do with us coming in and out of the room a couple times a day (which is completely normal when on a vacation). The other thing I would mention is the 3rd floor has an area with seating and outdoor games (chess, connect four, cornhole). We can’t keep our blinds open since it’s a little awkward opening them up to people hanging out. So our room stays pretty dark most of the day which we were disappointed about.

Very expensive for what kind of Hotel you receive. Paid extra for a balcony that had a view of what looked like an abandoned project building. Pictures online are very deceiving. Toilet made a weird noise all day long every single day. Horrible water pressure. Horrible breakfast buffet that we paid $14.99 or $15.99 for each that was complete trash. Extra fees tacked on for the stay and for parking. An extra $521 in fees for a 7 day stay. Will never stay here again and will make sure to leave reviews about this everywhere. Family stayed at another hotel down the street closer to the beach with a beautiful view and was a lot nicer and a lot cheaper. Will be going there next time instead of here. For everyone reading this, please save your money and find another hotel to stay at.

I stayed here for 12 nights in January 2022, and i must say I'm excited to return. The staff really make this place special. Every single employee i came in contact with was very helpful and friendly, from the front desk staff, pool bar tenders, house keepers, to the restaurant staff. Every day they greeted me with a smile and made me and my pup feel very welcomed. The property is lovely, and the location is fantastic. AC is probably my favorite of the Marriott brands, and this one is no exception. My only feedback is they need to stop capping the elite f&b credit at 3 nights (i spend more $ when I'm rewarded for my loyalty). Also, they did not provide AC toiletries which is one of my FAVORITE things about AC hotels. They provide some cheap soaps, sadly. Yes, like others have mentioned, Miami Beach is not quiet... There is significant noise from those who chose to have loud cars on Collins, but it usually fades after midnight. The boardwalk is a very short walk, and the feature that i enjoyed the most on my stay. The rooftop pool was very very warm which made it great in the middle of January. Thank you AC Miami Beach!!! I'll be back!!!
