Number 5: The French Fries French Fries serve as an irresistible side dish, and are usually the first thing from a McDonald's meal that people put into their mouths. While no one imagines these deep-fried pieces of potato as healthy food, a further breakdown would show how detrimental to health they really are. McDonald's french fries contain a lot of sugar in the form of dextrose, which sounds unusual for a food that tastes salty instead of sweet. Consuming too much dextrose leads to extra storage of unwanted fat. Fuel storage in the form of fat used to be a necessary function obtained through human evolution, as our ancestors did not know when the next meal would be available. But in this modern age where food is abundant, fat storage only results in accumulation of unwanted pounds. Dextrose from McDonald's french fries also causes spikes in blood sugar levels, which is particularly dangerous for those suffering diabetes. In the case of non-diabetic people, the pancreas would overexert itself to produce insulin, resulting in low blood sugar level. Symptoms include fatigue, shaking, sweating, and a rapid heartbeat. In short, too much dextrose causes both hyper and hypoglycemia. In addition to that, the cooking oil used to make McDonald's french fries is added with an anti-foaming agent dimethylpolysiloxane (PDMS). PDMS is another term for silicone, the non-biodegradable polymer found in cosmetics, silly putty, and breast implants.

This is my favorite breakfast spot for fast food in Kendall Lakes. My grandparents were major investors/contractors of the mall in the late 70’s. When we went shopping at Publix with my Arabian horses. No traffic at all. No Miller traffic.The Everglades was the “backyard” of Publix and Ace Hardware. The female morning staff are excellent in customer friendly service and drive thru service times.

It was closed despite it being a 24hr and staff were inside tried to order at the drive thru but no one would take order. Went to the window were you would pick up your order once placed but no one would open the serving window. There was bell which said to ring, which I did and when someone eventually came, they were rude and had a terrible attitude, she wanted to give me a sandwich not of my choice, I asked to choose from the menu, and she replied I'm doing you a favour. I told her not to bother. The hotel I'm staying at said they should not be closed, and this is a problem with the staff. If that's how you are treated in Miami when trying to get something to eat, I definitely will not be coming back.

Best McDonald's experience I've had in my life. They were only doing mobile orders & I never did 1 before so this was my 1st time & everything turned out fantastic. It was quick, fresh, correct, delicious & the staff were awesome. This location has definitely been upgraded. Glad I went.
