Worst experience I have ever had while shopping. Called ahead to see if they had fish. Came in and picked some out. Asked the gentleman if the one in the display was for sale (since frequently they are not, but sometimes yes) The result follows: "No, it's a DISPLAY" "Ah. Okay, do you work here?" "Yes" "Okay, when you're done with your bucket we could use some help catching some fish" "I am not into this domination thing you have going on" "What?" "You need to understand you are not in charge here." "What?" "The only thing you control is you, and you're attitude is absolutely not acceptable" "Okay, we are leaving" "Good! I DONT HAVE TO PUT UP WITH YOUR ATTITUDE" Ummmm.... Rick's Fish says thanks for the business.

After spending 20- 30 minutes finally encountered an employee, said "hey I don't want to interrupt you with your bucket or whatever when you finish up can someone come help me? " and got called domineering. OK selection super rude staff. Worst pet shop experince I've had in 30 years of the hobby.

I was initially very discouraged and left a 1 start review but I was able to change it to 5. I’m a beginner and had gone there and saw an Orange Spotted Filefish that looked cool. I asked the associate about it and she said it was a hardy fish that could live in my newly established tank and eat whatever my clowns eat. When I got home with it I did further research and discovered that the opposite was the case. However…..I spoke to the manager and she was very apologetic. It was a new associate that helped me and wasn’t familiar with the fish. She told me to bring it back, no problem. And gave me store credit. Very pleased

Little shop packed full of aquarium finds. Lots of frags to choose from. Friendly staff, decent fish supply. Only minus is no prices on tanks you have to look on price sheet and match up, which is hard for me small print in a dark space. I came home with several corals, cleanup crew, and a shrimp.
