The USPS branch in Burlingame -Primrose Avenue is a small and very busy terminal. The Primrose location is my main terminal since the SFO location shutdown. I usually send packages to N.E. Germany every few months and I use this post office because they are reliable and efficient. The customer service agents are always the same in terms of speed but they do a thorough job and ask all the correct questions. This location has 3 counters but 2 are always utilized. I have only seen the 3rd counter open during Christmas. My 5 stars is well justified.

Like others, I'd love to give a negative 5 rating. My Girl friend sent me a package from Thailand, which all tracking indicates, got to the Burlingame Post office. Carrier claims a delivery attempt was made, but NO Notice was ever left informing me I had a package. The claim from the Post office is the paskage was "..Unsuccessful (physical) delivery (Item held ; waiting for further action/information for No home delivery : registered/insured/taxable COD)..." Now, 2 weeks after they claim to have made a delivery attempt, they can't even find the package. Not on their shelf, "...maybe at Rollins Rd..." Incompetent delivery is the problem here, this carrier needs a talking to! People deserve better service.

There is at least one extremely rude employee there who goes out of her way to be difficult. You'll know her when you meet her. Don't let her get to you- just get back in line and see someone else if she isn't helping you. There are some perfectly helpful employees there. Better to laugh at the absurdity than to let it get to you. I actually haven't been there in a while, but I have to go today. Been dreading it hahahaha. I wish the mailman would just leave the packages on the stoop like Fedex and UPS are doing now :)

I think a negative star would better represent my experience here. They messed up with my holding mail half a year ago, and messed up my package delivery this time. Don't know how many times they can do things wrong. The staff was quite rude, unprofessional, and know nothing. Both times when I came to pick up my holding mail, or holding package, they couldn't find it, although the pick up location was clearly stated in the notice. They just gave me a number to call which I called in front of them, but it was just ringing without any response. They refused to help me contact other post office or whatever facility they mentioned the package could be. I cannot believe there was absolutely no tracking of the package in their office. Absolutely no customer service, such a waste of time for me. My advice is don't go there, phone call would be a better way. If phone call cannot solve your issue, going there would be an additional waste of your time. Avoid this location as much as you can.

No, they don't
I use to work for the USPO back in 1973, imploded by unfit mgmt. $4.22/hr nonsense!! Now fear USPS is about to crash too, they no longer sell stamps in rolls and they are selling off their valuable city Post Office properties, while Mgmt gets obscene bonuses. Maybe you should write your Senator and local newspaper Editor!
