Hi, thanks for your interest in our resale shop. We only get a pair or two of nylons in every once in a while, so I have to say we don't have much of a selection if any at all. Sorry.
We follow all the safety procedures required by San Mateo County and have them posted at our store.
Hi Cathy, Out thrift store is accepting limited donations (we will accept no more than six donations in either bags or boxes per person each day) Monday through Saturday starting at 10 am UNTIL FULL or noon, whichever is first. No donations are accepted on Sunday. To learn more visit: https://phs-spca.org/pick/
Yes, 10am - 7pm the first Friday of each month is a 50% off sale.
You are welcome to drop off your clothing during our business hours. All proceeds from sales go directly to help our shelter animals. Thanks!
Walk-in donations are welcome daily 11 AM until 5 PM Monday through Saturday and 12 PM until 3 PM on Sundays. You can learn more here https://phs-spca.org/pick/
It depends on whether it's something we can sell or not. We do not accept donations on a walk in basis, you first need to call to see if we can accept it and then if we can, we can schedule a pick up. There's more information here https://phs-spca.org/pick/ We are not trying to be difficult, but if we are unable to sell an item, we have to pay to dispose of it.
I might add concerning "The Pick's" books, I found recent, fine condition best sellers in both hard and soft covers. They're once read likely. Having just read Laura Hillenbrand's "Seabiscuit" some years ago which instantly became my favorite book I ever read, I asked siblings, kids, & others if they read it. Most hadn't. I'd already picked up several hard & soft copies of "Seabiscuit" the day I finished it from "The Pick." I came across more copies regularly, and as I saw family and friends who liked reading but missed "Seabiscuit," I gave them a fine book, finely wrapped. They all appreciated both the gesture and book greatly, whether it was the 3'buck, or buck'50 gesture.
