They have a good generalized selection considering the marketplace now-a-days. It is difficult for any electronics store to stay current and also stay in business. So, I am very appreciative to have such a retailer in Santa Cruz.

Excellent experience. Needed a backup drive and memory expansion for my laptop. Mike helped me with not only the right parts but took time to show me how. Support these local champs!

Very good place to get hard to find electrical components. The staff are knowledgeable on many computer, audio and visual equipment.

Last local electronics holdout that I'm aware of. They have what I am looking for 25% of the time. But that is 100% more than anywhere else now that Fry's is gone. 5/5 stars because it's better than not having it. The prices are not particularly bad and worth it for parts I need same day. Support you local businesses!

Hi Julie, We do have a tech, Mike, who offers soldering services. He works Monday through Friday 9am-5pm. If you are able to call or come in with your project and talk to Mike, we can then find out if we are able to help you. -Paul

Your best bet would be to come in and talk to Mike, our repair technician. He is here Monday-Wednesday 9am-4pm. He will be able to look at them with you and let you know if there is anything he thinks he can do for you.
Hi Jasmine, We do repair headphones quite frequently. If you are able to come in with the headphones Monday-Friday 9am-4pm, you can talk directly with our repair technician, Mike, for an estimate of cost of parts & labor. Otherwise, you may drop off the headphones anytime during business hours, and you will receive a call with an estimate later. -Paul
Hi Michael, We do have mounting adapters for installing 2.5in ssd/hdd's into 3.5in bays in desktop computers, if that's what you are asking for.
I don't work at SC Electronics but I would certainly give them a call & ask them.
Yes they do, it is probably a C2032, they are behind the counter so ask one of the fine people who are working there. Keep in mind that you wil have to go into bios settings to reset date and time snd possibly your drive and boot configuration.
No, they are more like radio shack, but way better. Perfect for DIY electronics projects and that kind of thing
