We came here looking for an Australian style coffee per one of the reviews here. Coffee is strong but a bit acidic for my tastes. We had flat whites, which were properly made, not just like lattes with aspirations. The croissant was yummy, very buttery. There were 5 staff but service station had no sugar, no napkins, dirty cup bin was full and not enough cup covers. It was only after a couple people went up to ask for stuff that someone went to sort it out. Staff looks pretty annoyed, the 3 I interacted with hardly cracked a smile. While coffee may be Aussie strength, the service lacks the same warmth.

The coffee was beautiful and delicious, what more can you ask for? The depth of flavor is excellent, you can tell the use high quality ingredients.

I always enjoy a cup of Blue Bottle Coffee every time I visited San Francisco. The staffs in this store are very polite and friendly.....

This coffee shop was really bright, clean, and cool. The place itself was a nice place to go to grab a cup of joe, the products were good & the location was quite close to our hotel. We decided to find a highly rated coffee shop to head to, to start our day, and this one was one of the highest rated in the area. We headed out on a 15 minute walk and came across this coffee shop in an old building with massive windows, and a line waiting out the door. We thought, the coffee must be good, if there is a line waiting outside for coffee. We promptly took our place and waited patiently for our turn. Once inside, we were impressed with the simple, understated décor & the abundance of natural light from the massive windows. We decided on a cappuccino (for her) and a simple doppio espresso (for me). She also decided to grab one of the re-usable coffee cups, as a souvenir. Surprisingly, the register attendant told us that they could not serve the coffee in the reusable cop we purchased, that they had to give us a disposable & we could then pour it in ourselves & throw away the cup they originally put it in. This seemed like a waste of money, resources & didn't really make sense to us (since they had to handle the cup they gave us anyway), but we had no option. We took our coffees and headed outside to enjoy them. The cappuccino was really good, the espresso, needed improvement. While it seemed the espresso had not been heated to too high of a temperature (burnt), the espresso was much more bitter than what I had expected. Either way, this was a cool spot & we would return to it, in the future.
