Worst customer service in The whole of Tampa bay. I asked the guy on duty where an item was he showed me the shelf which was clearly labeled but the items on there was not as labeled. I didn’t notice til I got home and was getting ready to cook and called the store only for the same guy to yell at me and say it’s my fault for picking the wrong item and tell me how terrible of a person I am. What a disgraceful person to call a fellow African. If this is how we treat our own people then no wonder we can never progress as a people. They’ve lost me and my family as customers for life! There inventory is overpriced and purchased mostly from Sawanneh’s Imports on Old National Highway in ATL, I’ll rather drive there than ever step foot amongst such rude people!

Very good place. I love the food, great prices. Owners are very grateful, courteous, very good people. Everyone should go to shop at Africa on the bay. I shop there always.

Regular customer- nice, clean, organized store. Fair prices. (Especially since Nigerian food is scarce here :( The ONLY place to buy Nigerian food supplies that I’ve found so far... (don’t waste your time at the other African store.) Good variety of foods. Refrigerator section keeps things super fresh. Shea butter is overpriced :( Employees are so friendly & helpful! Parking is a small nightmare- use good judgement & caution.
