Lazy Bear has earned their two Michelin Stars. The food was unique and outstanding, but the personalized touches are what put this experience above and beyond. A small table was brought to our seat for my purse, which was a really nice feature! Front of house service was flawless, with each dish and drink presented with explanation from a different person each time. It was very fun to hear about how the food was sourced and the over-the-top preparations were delightful. Definitely worth the spend for a special occasion; for us it was our anniversary, and we were even given a card signed by the staff to commemorate the occasion.

Amazing. Deserving of the highest rating. BUT. Many of their ‘keynote’ dishes are repeated. I found the beverage pairing to be underwhelming. And the upstairs den experience apres dinner to be avoided. I certainly wouldn’t want to try to enjoy the experience outside on the street. With those caveats….it is amazing.

One of the best dining experiences ever! They go out their way to make you feel special. Each course was my favorite. Only 4 stars because it's very pricey, the value is subjective.

Great experience! Definitely stands out among other Michelin 2 stars. Food was amazing overall, we do enjoy all the dishes, and the service is great! the only small problem is Waygu quality is below my expectations, it does not melt in your mouse and some part is little bit hard to chew. I celebrated my birthday here, and I received lots of blessings from different staff. They gave me a card which has every staff’s signature, this is so a sweet! At the end they’ll give you breakfast, cold brew, banana bread and granola! Will definitely come back!

Their camp commissary (take out option) is pretty reasonable. Items range from $10 to $20 for the most part. Dinner kits for 2 people are $125+. They post their menu frequently on their instagram acct. You can expect to spend about ~$25/person minimum and it's pretty easy to spend $100 for two people on their takeout option.
Pretty much just come as you are. When I was there on a weeknight most people looked like they'd come from work in a range of business casual to casual, some people looked more fancy than others but no one stood out.
Yes! You can book tables in their parklet outside the restaurant. Each table is separated by what I assume is plexiglass. The environment is typical SF street noise but the experience was still delicious and wonderful
Hi Irina! We do not serve lunch, however our sister restaurant Automat does!
Outdoor seats for up to 4 people
Everybody must be masked when the staff approaches, and the staff wears masks when they approach. They measure temperatures when you show up. All seating, when I went two weeks ago, was outdoors.
Lazy Bear has seasonal menus and needs to use items that are in season.
They have usually two seating for dinner and you have to be there on time since it is a communal dinner experience (an highly suggested one). So check on their site for the dinner times (usually 6 and 8:30). I heard you could use the bar without reservation if they have space, so probably 6:30ish to 8 and 9ish to 11 while they are open but not using the bar for dinner service...
all dinner is special
For the 15+ course tasting menu $185 - $205 per person. If you want beverage pairings to go with the food, about another $100. I went with a group and it was phenomenal. They will even accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions with advance notice.
Call them and ask. They are very accommodating, but celiac disease may be difficult given the serious consequences of cross contamination and its not a gf kitchen.
