I literally called these people 10 times today and everytime i called the call center said the staff was in a meeting and to call back in 15 minutes. They did this until they closed. I got played😂😭

Come back in 3 years she says I said what about the waiting list come back in 3 years and just move the piece of paper as if she was working yeah right I bet you if I was Mexican I wouldn't have that problem I bet you she would have gave me some cards or some referrals or something but she didn't she's a racist they need to have black people working there since black people need Section 8 just as much as illegal immigrants do

I went there to see what ever i could find out about geting help...this young lady tells me the sign up list is closed..i asked about sec 8 i get i dont know anything...wow.

You need to visit the housing authority and get a worker assigned to you, then they will evaluate your income and finances and will issue a voucher that shows how much they will contribute. Take the voucher to any landlord and negotiate the lease. Good luck

I believe that you have to be 18 but I am not 100% sure of that. I would suggest that you go to the official HUD website.There you will be able to read and understand not only aboutm Section 8 program but about all the programs HUD offers and how to access&utilize them.You can also find links to HUD offices near you.Search for subsidized housing near you. Dont let the waiting lists discourage you.Persistence pays off.Read,learn,&understand about any&all subsidized housing available.Keep hustling &hustle hard everyday.
You should call to see because they have to have funding at the time for you to port in. Especially since our government is shutdown. This may not be a good time to move.
